Tour programme
Guests are met at the airport and taken to dinner at the Supara ethno-complex, where traditional architecture and Kyrgyz cuisine set the tone for the trip. The night is spent at Jannat Resort in Bishkek.

The day starts at the Burana Tower, the surviving minaret of the medieval city of Balasagun. The route then reaches Kyzyl-Tuu, the village on the southern shore known for its yurt makers, where guests take part in a master class on assembling a yurt. In the evening the group checks into the Elestet ethno-complex near Bokonbaevo.

A deliberately unhurried day: free time and rest on the grounds of the ethno-complex, with the lake and the mountains close by. The evening brings a folklore programme with traditional music and performance.

A day along the southern shore taking in the three classic landmarks: the sculpted red rock of Fairy Tale Canyon, the waterfalls of Barskoon Gorge and the Jeti-Oguz rock formation. In the evening the group transfers to Karakol Resort at the eastern end of the lake.

A varied day in and above the town: a horse ride in the morning, then the cable car up to the viewpoints over the Karakol valley, followed by a sightseeing tour of the town itself. Night at Karakol Resort.

The most active day of the programme: a trek towards Ala-Kol, one of the most beautiful alpine lakes of the Tian Shan, with a picnic along the way. The group returns to Karakol Resort in the evening for the sauna and rest.

The route crosses back along Issyk-Kul to the Chon-Kemin valley, with check-in at the Ala-Kush complex. The evening is given to a national dinner in the valley.

The final day is the return to Bishkek and the transfer to the airport, closing the programme.
