Tour programme
The day runs from 08:00 to 19:30 and starts at the Eternal Flame in Bishkek. The route heads east into the Chui region, with the first stop at the Big Birdhouse, then the shore of Kichi-Kemin Lake. From there the road climbs into Ak-Tuz Gorge and the abandoned mining village of Ak-Tuz, the most unusual point of the trip. On the way back the group stops at the mountain fountain, walks through the birch forest and finishes at the Big Chair viewpoint over Chon-Kemin. Walking is easy, about 2 km in total, so the pace stays relaxed with plenty of time for photographs.
