Tour programme
Departure from Bishkek at 08:00. The first stop is the Burana Tower, the minaret of the medieval city of Balasagun, followed by a walk through the red clay canyons of Kok-Moynok. Lunch is taken on the road. In the afternoon the group arrives in Bokonbaevo on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul for a show with golden eagles, where local berkutchi demonstrate the hunting tradition passed down for generations. The day ends with a walk and rest on the lake shore, dinner and a night at a hotel by the water.

After breakfast the group explores Fairy Tale Canyon, where erosion has sculpted the red rock into shapes that give the place its name. The route continues to Barskoon Gorge and its waterfalls, with lunch or a picnic in nature. In the afternoon there are panoramic views of the Jeti-Oguz rock formation, the Seven Bulls, before arriving in Karakol for dinner and the night at a hotel.

A day of travelling along the northern shore of the lake, with visits to both Semenov and Grigoriev gorges and their spruce forests and alpine pastures. Lunch is served by the lake. In the afternoon the group transfers to the Chon-Kemin valley and checks into a guest house, where the evening brings a traditional Kyrgyz dinner and a night in the village.

A relaxed final morning with breakfast and free time in the valley, with an optional horse ride for those who want one. After lunch the group returns to Bishkek and the programme comes to an end.
